The demand for a ladies' watch by Sinn, which grew increasingly frequent with the rising renown of the Sinn brand, was the basis for the concept behind our 456 series: robust, but not at all clunky. Distinctive, but not masculine. And above all, mechanical, but not heavy. The result is a sporty, elegant watch with all the characteristics typical of a Sinn timepiece. Its compact case has a diameter of only 28 mm but the same incisive design as the larger classic stainless steel chronometers. The cleanly designed dials ensure superior readability under all conditions of use. The high-quality ETA 2671 automatic movement with 25 ruby bearing jewels and 28,800 alternations per hour forms the core of this dainty ladies' watch. In addition to the hour, minute and second, the date is displayed at the 6 o'clock position.

Various sea snails and pearl oysters form mother-of-pearl layers on the interior of their shells. In scientific terms, these coatings consist of calcium carbonate platelets. It is precisely this material that oysters use to render foreign objects such as grains of sand harmless by coating them with numerous layers of mother-of-pearl, thus transforming them into pearls.
