We are pleased to present our second pilot watch with a historically inspired design in the legendary 155 series in collaboration with the specialist watch magazine REVOLUTION. Shortly after we released just 150 pieces of our special edition 155 Revolution in 2019, we had the spark of an idea for a follow-up watch. And we knew we wanted to extend this partnership back then too. The result is the 155 S Revolution II (Sinn 155 S Bright Star TEGIMENT®) special edition limited to 300 pieces. It has a historically inspired design and signature SINN technology. Think of it as a new version of a classic. This chronograph follows the historical dimensions, but its design has been updated for the here and now – and beyond – with its exceptional scratch resistance and fully black design.

The 155 S Revolution II has the original measurements spot on, with its case diameter coming in at 43 mm. It also has the same bidirectional rotating pilot’s bezel with a minute scale, classic bicompax display with small advancing seconds and 30-minute counter, and large stopwatch second hand display from the dial centre. But the SINN TEGIMENT Technology and Black Hard Coating are brand-new additions to the case and pilot’s bezel for this model. While the crystal was made from acrylic previously, it is now made from sapphire crystal (a novelty in the history of the 155 model). We also made the decision with our partner REVOLUTION to replicate the historical hands on the ‘Bundeswehr Chronograph for Pilots’ from the 1960s. This gives the watch a strong historical connection, highlighting the commitment to tradition down to the finest detail of this pilot chronograph.

As a symbol of the collaboration with the specialist watch magazine REVOLUTION, the matte black dial is adorned with a discreet black luminous ‘Revolution star’.

The 903 series is presented in a version that has been technically completely redesigned. Visually recognisable, the navigation chronograph 903 St B E II is available as a standard model with a dark blue dial and has been elevated to an unparalleled technical level. The functionally designed dial imprints the navigation chronograph in our product range with decades of tradition. For example, the slide rule bezel with logarithmic scale can be used to calculate times, distances or fuel consumption. Of particular note is the use of hybrid ceramic luminous elements in the indices, which are meticulously attached by hand, the number 12 and the hour and minute hands. By integrating the illuminating pigments into the respective hybrid ceramic moulded part, a high concentration of illuminant is achieved, resulting in extreme light intensity and perfect readability in the dark.

However, the redesign of the case of the 903 St B E II in particular once again demonstrates our company's high level of innovation. This case features a silver-electroplated rotating bezel on the which can be smoothly operated from the outer diameter of the watch. The impressive waterproofness of 20 bar testifies to a feat of engineering that has long shaped the SINN brand.

The Tri-Compax arrangement of the silver-electroplated counters completes the classic navigation chronograph's design. The crowning glory of this model is its column wheel chronograph movement, which has a power reserve of at least 60 hours when fully wound. Watch connoisseurs will immediately recognise that the SINN logo as an appliqué is another fine detail of a consistently sophisticated watch.

Due to the aforementioned oil filling, this timepiece must be a quartz watch, as the oscillation of the balance in a mechanical watch would be unable to overcome the high damping resistance of a liquid medium. Nevertheless, watch lovers needn’t forgo the reliability typical of SINN – the long-lasting lithium battery used ensures reliable function at temperatures ranging from –20°C to +60°C. The battery also has an exceptionally long service life. The movement’s integrated EOL (end of life) function prevents the watch from stopping suddenly.

Never lose track of time – especially in the dark. Limited to 500 pieces, our U50 S L model embodies this aspiration in a special way. For example, the entire dial and key marker on the rotating bezel glow and not, as is normally the case, just the indices and hands. This is made possible by the unusual luminous paint application on the dial. In terms of its production, an innovative method is used to incorporate the luminous paint into a mould using a special casting process. After hardening, a hybrid ceramic component is created, which is joined to the metallic base dial. In the final processing step, the two combined components are printed. The result is rather remarkable – thanks to the high concentration and large surface area of the luminous paint, we achieve extreme luminosity and thus perfect readability – in a quality never seen before!

In terms of appearance, the watch boasts a striking design with a display that concentrates on the essentials, realised in a comfortable diameter size of 41 mm! Another plus: outstanding suitability for everyday use. The case and crown are made of high-strength seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel. The Black Hard Coating of the case, crown and rotating bezel skilfully showcases this unusual look and forms a perfect contrast to the dial. Furthermore, thanks to TEGIMENT technology, a special hardening process for submarine steel, the Black Hard Coating is extremely scratch-resistant. Logos as applications
Do we need more common ground to celebrate an anniversary together that the city, club and supporters are already looking forward to? Eintracht Frankfurt is celebrating a fantastic 125 years on March 8, 2024! The special edition 910 Eintracht, limited to 500 pieces, with its unique numbering on the rotor, brings this extraordinary event to life. As the initiators of this chronograph, the logos of Sinn Spezialuhren and Eintracht Frankfurt can be found as appliqués on the black silk-matt dial at 12 and 6 o'clock respectively.

Such an "Eintracht watch" for the 125th anniversary naturally requires the appropriate technical equipment, which can be seen in the SZ05 chronograph movement. With this in-house design, we focus on placing the stopwatch minute display with a 60-minute division at 3 o'clock and the running seconds at 9 o'clock. The advantage: there is no need to add up the stop minutes with the usual 30-minute division.

The ideal companion
The 60-minute counter circle at 3 o'clock deserves special attention anyway, as we have created an analogy to the club's most popular sport with this complication: The 45-minute period of the counter circle is marked in glossy black, so that the spectator in the stadium can immediately see the half-time of a soccer match to be played. As an easily recognizable contrast, we have designed the stop minute hand and the stop second hand in shiny red. Overall, this color arrangement reflects the club colors red, black and white as discreetly as it does tastefully. In addition, the numerals in the interior bezel as well as the hour and minute hands are luminescent, making it easy to read the time even in the dark. The special edition 910 Eintracht is low pressure resistant, water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 10 bar. When it comes to its features, this diving chronograph is one of the most traditional and yet technically advanced timekeeping instruments.

The EZM 13.1 thus knows exactly what matters during use: a focus on the key essentials in terms of outstanding readability. To this end, we have integrated a factory modification with high functional value into the SINN chronograph movement SZ02. To enable the elapsed times to be read quickly and intuitively, the EZM 13.1 features a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock instead of a (generally customary) 30-minute counter. It is distinguished by an optimised dial design. To enable clearer readability, the Arabic numerals have been omitted on the EZM 13.1. This adds an optical enhancement to its technically functional focus.

For the highest levels of mechanical stability and durability against external influences, we have equipped the EZM 13.1 with a technology package consisting of Magnetic Field Protection, Ar-Dehumidifying Technology and Temperature Resistance Technology. The first Frankfurt Financial District Watch was unveiled in 1999 and marked a landmark decision for our company. Up until then, the name Sinn Spezialuhren had been synonymous with innovative timepieces specially designed for pilot and diving missions. The expansion towards classic, elegant series proved to be hugely popular with our customers. After all, a Frankfurt Financial District Watch is the perfect accessory for festive occasions or day-to-day business – exhibiting both elegance and the durability typical of Sinn Spezialuhren.

The appeal of this series is now being further enhanced by the new model 6068 B. This watch gains its allure from the blue dial, which is exquisitely finished with a sunburst decoration.

The model also features characteristics that connoisseurs of this series have come to appreciate. For example, the Frankfurt Financial District Watch 6068 B is characterised by two time zones that can be read simultaneously. The movement is exquisitely decorated. Particularly eye-catching are the Geneva stripes and blued screws. Sapphire crystal is used for both the watch crystal and the transparent case back, offering an impressive view of the bull and bear rotor engraving.

Whether it is the aesthetic appeal, technical finesse and the associated craft of watchmaking or the limited edition of 500 watches, the 356 PILOT Classic Anniversary embodies timekeeping in its own unique way – the ideal watch to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this model series.

Bicompax arrangement of the counters Classic chronographs fascinate many watch lovers – not least because these timepieces often have a number of unique features. The same can certainly be said for our 356 PILOT Classic Anniversary model. For the first time in this model series, we have exquisitely decorated the dial at six o’clock with the unmistakable ‘FLIEGER KLASSIK’ lettering as a special tribute. As a counterpart to this, we attached the SINN logo as an appliqué at 12 o’clock.

Another novelty relates to a complication that is also unusual for this model series: the bicompax arrangement of the silver matt counters. For a balanced overall appearance, they harmoniously match the anthracite electroplated dial. In the interest of visual perfection, the hands for the hours, minutes and stopwatch seconds are rhodium-plated and lined with luminous paint, while the silky- matt anthracite-coloured design of the small seconds and 30-minute stopwatch are eye-catching. As a useful feature, we have equipped the dial with a fine-minute dial, divided into quarters of a second, for fast recording of short-time measurement.

High-domed sapphire crystal glass

The high-domed crystal featuring an anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures a clear view of the striking dial – even under extreme lighting conditions. In keeping with this, the case back – also made of sapphire crystal – makes it easy to catch sight of the limited-edition identifier on the rotor. To truly appreciate the value and quality of this special material, it is important to know that the glass is ground out of a solid blank that is around 5 mm thick with five different curvature radii and is then carefully polished. Connoisseurs are left impressed by the result, as the procedure preserves the classic appearance.

The 356 PILOT Classic Anniversary is powered by a high-precision mechanical movement that guarantees an improved power reserve of over 56 hours. Look forward to an extraordinary timepiece – available in a fine case with two locally manufactured straps made from nubuck boar leather (see reverse).

A look back at history

The 356 PILOT Classic Anniversary model is a fine example of how every watch – or chronograph – tells a unique story. This timepiece, too, stands on the shoulders of an entire generation of successful watches from the 356 series.

It’s worth taking a look back at history. At the very beginning, there was a special edition in an exclusive range of 300 pieces. Made especially for the Japanese market, we developed an elegant and slimmer version of our 256 pilot chronograph without a rotating bezel in 1996: the 356 with the characteristic ‘FLIEGER’ imprint on a matte black dial, bead-blasted stainless-steel case and shock-resistant acrylic glass. This first model was equipped with the Valjoux 7760 hand-wound movement.

Classically elegant appearance

The great success of this watch on the Japanese market prompted us to include the chronograph in our collection. In December 1998, the time had come: as expected, the 356 PILOT, now featuring an automatic movement, bead-blasted casing, acrylic glass and a solid back, was very popular. The fact that this watch is still one of our most popular chronographs worldwide shows how timeless it is. These first chronographs also defined the parameters that characterise this model series to this day: classically elegant, with a clear, aesthetic appearance, where nothing distracts you from the essentials, because form and design are subordinate to the reliable reading of the time and the stop times determined by the chronograph.

Nubuck boar leather strap

With the 356 PILOT Classic Anniversary model, we are presenting a high-quality strap made from boar leather manufactured in Germany, which is now also available in a 20 mm lug width. The surface of the leather is gently napped to create a velvety soft texture. This makes the fine roughness of the nubuck leather visible, creating its characteristic look and giving it a fitting patina. As well as from the type of finishing, the individual appearance of the straps produced exclusively for us results from the leather surface with its strong bristles, which can be distinguished by fine, dark dots known as hair holes.

Nubuck leather is known for its high durability, suppleness and shape retention. Our straps are regional products, both in terms of origin and manufacture. The leather comes from Hessian wild boars. The leather is also tanned in Hesse, followed by final production in Rhineland- Palatinate. The animals’ existence in the wild and the life story that goes with it give each strap its individual appearance

Developing and using “unconventional” case materials for watchmaking is one of our core competencies. It is deeply rooted in our company’s historical DNA and has produced a number of astonishing timepieces in the past. The T50 GBDR edition is another impressive demonstration of our extensive expertise in the field of metallurgy.

For the diver’s bezel of this interesting timepiece, we are using a bronze alloy we developed, which is patented. This alloy, referred to as Goldbronze 125, has an exceptionally high degree of purity, and one eighth of it is gold. With bronze, we are embracing a material that has been used frequently in a wide range of maritime applications in the past. However, the exceptionally high degree of purity of our Goldbronze 125 results in improved skin compatibility and increased corrosion resistance to seawater compared to conventional bronze alloys. Material-technically matching this, the case of the T50 GBDR is made of high-strength titanium. As this metal does not cause allergies, the watch provides exceptionally high wearing comfort overall. Goldbronze 125 continues to develop a darkening of the surface due to oxidation, also known as a patina. However, the alloy achieves a higher degree of inertness in the face of environmental influences than ordinary bronze (CuSn8) because it has gold as a component. If desired, the mentioned darkening of the surface can be removed with a gold bronze cleaning cloth provided that the oxidation is minimal enough.

A concept tailored for operational safety ensures that nothing goes wrong when diving. This can be seen, for example, in the robust diver’s bezel. It is an extremely reliable tool for timekeeping, as it is captively attached to the case. It is also protected against accidental twisting. “Press first, then turn”: this is the memorable principle behind the simple yet effective anti-twist mechanism. When things get tough, Ar-Dehumidifying Technology ensures greater functional reliability and freedom from fogging.

The captive safety diver’s bezel made of Goldbronze 125 harmonises perfectly with the matte black dial – an interplay that skilfully contrasts with the more objective-technical appearance of the bead-blasted, high-strength titanium case. All this does not come at the expense of clear readability and measurability – because the display has been reduced to the bare essentials. Important design features of this concept are strikingly large sword hands and the visual understatement of all functions and printing on the dial and safety bezel that are not relevant to the actual dive. The timepiece also uses colour-coding to ensure reliable reading of reference times, especially in the dark or under adverse visibility conditions. The hour hands and indices on the dial glow green, while the minute and second hands and the main marking on the rotating bezel are bluish. As the crown is located at 4 o’clock, it prevents pressure on the back of the hand, even during physically demanding activities.

With its diameter of 41 mm, the T50 GBDR model cuts a wearable figure in any situation - especially on narrow wrists.

Experts will recognise immediately that this gives the watch exceptional strength and outstanding non-magnetic properties. The captive rotating bezel prevents the loss of set times. And as the watch may be exposed to particularly harsh conditions, we have also equipped the case and rotating bezel with TEGIMENT Technology to ensure exceptionally high scratch resistance.

Furthermore, the U50 DS was put through its paces by the DNV. Pressure resistance was verified and certified to a diving depth of 500 metres (= 50 bar), as was temperature resistance functionality in accordance with the European diving equipment standards.

Which watches embody the essence of our company best of all? The answer to this question is easy for connoisseurs of our brand: the timepieces from the 103 series, which have been part of our collection as classic pilot chronographs since the mid-1960s and have since become the defining ambassadors for our company. Some watch lovers will no doubt remember that in the early days – in addition to timepieces with automatic movements – individual models also featured acrylic glass and hand-wound movements. Is it the love of tradition and the art of watchmaking that made SINN watches so popular with such a movement? Or was it the more intensive connection to the phenomenon of time, coupled with the daily ritual of winding the watch? The truth is that this fascination is probably born of various different preferences and values.

With this in mind, the 103 St Ty Hd model is a contemporary tribute to its prestigious predecessors, as it is also equipped with shock-resistant acrylic glass and hand-wound movement with a power reserve of more than 58 hours. Furthermore, a SINN watch with a hand-wound movement from the 103 series was last officially available around 20 years ago, which makes the release of the 103 St Ty Hd model all the more special still.

The special calibre is a classic Tri-Compax chronograph dedicated to functionality: a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock on a matt black dial. The symmetrical, V-shaped arrangement of the counters in matt-silk light yellow creates a wonderfully balanced aesthetic and creative design. In keeping with this, the stopwatch second hand and stopwatch minute display are dark red for improved emphasis and thus legibility – a specification also reflected by the stopwatch minute scale. In the interests of faster time recording, the first ten minutes are shown alternately in black and red.

High-quality faceted attached appliqués adorn the matt black dial. In combination with the faceted hour and minute hands, the watch exudes elegance and, thanks to the elements with luminous effect, is also legible in the dark.

Another complication – the tachymeter scale on the interior bezel – satisfies the desire of watch connoisseurs for the precise, manual measurement of speeds from 60 km/h to 600 km/h.

Low pressure resistant, water-resistant and pressure-resistant up to 20 bar, these additional features guarantee a high level of suitability for everyday use. All in all, this 103 is a worthy member of a long-established series of renowned SINN watches, which, not least because of its limited edition of 1,000 pieces, looks set to become a coveted collector’s item.

The clearly structured appearance and the associated good readability of time, date and day of the week characterize the model series as 104 classic pilot watches, in keeping with the proven SINN tradition. For these reasons, they are also among the most popular timepieces from our company.

As a special color feature, we have designed an unusual dial for the 104 St Sa I ES with a nuanced color gradient from ivory to black. In addition, the brown rotating bezel inlay helps to emphasize the harmonious overall impression of the watch. The winding rotor is engraved with the respective limitation number on this special edition.

Crystal made of sapphire crystal glass, which is also used for the transparent case back. The pilot's bezel with minute ratcheting can be rotated on both sides. It is securely attached to the case made of polished stainless steel and has a luminous triangle as key mark.

If you had to choose a wristwatch from our entire collection that exemplifies our company, it would undoubtedly be the 103 series. The pilot chronograph has been a permanent component of our watch range since the mid-1960s.

Since it was launched, our company has introduced many technical innovations, the development of which ARMBANDUHREN magazine has been following for 30 years. That is why we are celebrating this partnership with a limited, special-edition 103 Classic 12 H. This timepiece not only boasts unique features such as Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, which guarantees functional reliability and freedom from fogging, but is also waterproof and pressure-resistant up to 20 bar and resistant to low pressure.

The captive bezel insert of the 103 Classic 12 H is made from hard and therefore scratch-resistant ceramic and features a twelve-hour scale, which can be used to display a second time zone. The chestnut-brown colour of the bezel insert is also reflected in the hollowed-out counters of the subsidiary seconds and the chronograph, which enables short-time measurement up to twelve hours.

The orange stopwatch hands contrast with the dial largely in beige. The hour-, minute- and stopwatch second hand and the attached rhodium-plated appliqués feature luminescent colour.

The integrated, self-winding Sellita SW510 calibre also enables date display between the 4 and 5. A transparent back provides a look at the high-quality mechanical movement and, just like the crystal, is made from anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass. All the 103 Classic 12 H watches feature an engraved limited-edition marking on the rotor.

Launched in 2021 as a limited edition of 600 watches to mark our company’s 60th anniversary, the 103 Classic 12 with ceramic rotating bezel promptly sold out.

The 103 Classic 12 H will be an even rarer sight, as the chronograph will be produced as a limited edition of 300 watches for ARMBANDUHREN magazine’s 30th anniversary and will come in a double case with an orange textile strap and a mocha-coloured cowhide strap.
